Long Pineapple Coat/Duster – full written pattern

Hi,
I found pictures of this jacket or duster and I fell in love with it. I was searching for the pattern since around Christmas time and I had to give up. I couldn’t find one.

I didn’t have any other choice so I made my own pattern. I only had four pictures from Pinterest that I could work with. It took me over a month of trying, crocheting and unraveling and crocheting again. It is not an exact copy of the jacket on the picture, because I couldn’t see all of it on the photos, but I think I got very close. What do you think?

I used anti-pilling baby acrylic yarn, but I think you can use any yarn you like for this project.

Since the shape of the coat is meant to be loose, so t fits most sizes. You can vary the size of your coat by using different types of material and size of hooks.

I’m confident the written pattern is suitable for a dedicated beginner as well.
There are many pictures to help guide you through the crocheting, and supporting the written pattern for this coat/duster.

I am providing the pattern for this very hippie-chic pineapple coat/duster for symbolic price only, and you can find it here:

  1. Hello. I bought this pattern and I have a question. In the written pattern, row 14, the 5th position from that long group of worked trc says 3trc-ch1-3trc but the picture of the bodice looks more like 1trc-ch1-1trc. I am not sure which one is correct. Hope I was comprehensible enough, english is not my native language. :) Thank you very much!
