Hello everyone,
Around Christmas I crocheted a lot of toys (angels, elves, gingerbread men, snowmen, etc.). Now I crocheted this dachshund/sausage dog for my lovely lady neighbor who recently lost her dog and because of her age she no longer has enough strength to get another one.
For all those who, unfortunately, are no longer able to walk their pets, I am attaching a link to instructions and a few photos of how to crochet a dachshund/sausage dog.
You can still pamper him and care for him, but the obligation to walk, feed and vet checks is no longer required.
Any yarn that suits your requirements can be used. It is not necessary to use a lot of yarn, so it is possible to use up leftover yarn.
The size of the dog also depends on the material used and the size of the hook.
This doggie on the pictures is roughly 30cm (12’) wide and 25cm (10’) high.

Have a nice week
