All season blue poncho - free pattern

Hello everyone,

just another idea for a very nice poncho.

For this poncho I used “Vlnika/Rasty” yarn, 100% acrylic, 1 ball - 100g / 246m (I used 6 balls) and H/6/5mm crochet hook.

For size: From neck to wrist: 57cm/ (23”), front - from the neckline down: 75cm/ (30”). 

But honestly, you can use any yarn that will suits your needs.

Denim poncho - full written pattern

Hello,
For this time of the year I have made a pattern for a light, soft poncho with a border. You can wear it with jeans as well as with a more formal outfit.

 

The pattern is made to fit most sizes. The front with the edging is measuring cca 90cm (36”), the arm with the edging is cca 55cm (22”). One square measures cca 47cm x 47cm (18,8’’ x 18,8’’).

For this poncho I used cca 500g of soft baby acrylic yarn suitable for 5mm hook, where 50grams = 90meters of yarn. You can use any material which suites your purposes.

It is crocheted by joining square motives together.

There are pictures and chart to help guide you through the crocheting, and supporting the written pattern. I do believe this pattern is suitable for a dedicated beginner as well.

You can use the basic square pattern to make scarves or any other garments.

Granny Square Poncho - free pattern

 Even summer evenings can be cooler and I think this poncho is perfect for those evenings.

You can use nearly any material you like and you can make the poncho any size you like. You can vary the size of your poncho by using different type of material and size of hook and/or adding/taking off the rounds.

This poncho is square - 110cm(44’’)  x 110cm(44’’) .

Circular poncho - free pattern

Hello,  

I found instructions for this round/circular poncho and I had to try it. I think it is nice and easy project which will not take more than few evenings and the outcome is gorgeous.

Size: (this poncho) diameter is around 75cm (30”).

You can vary the size of your poncho by using different types of material and sizes of hook.
