3D leaf purse – free patterns

Hello,

Some time ago I found a chart / diagram for this beautiful handbag / tote. So I couldn't resist and tried to crochet it.

I also found a written pattern for free for the same tote, but I have to admit that there were a few challenging bits in it for me -

My bag is 38cm (15’’) wide and 30cm (12’’) high. The handles can be as long or short as you will make them. I made them 46cm (18’’) long. I also put a lining in it for more strength.

You can vary the size of your bag by using different type of material and size of hook or by adding/taking off the rounds from the top of your bag. For this bag I used E/5mm crochet hook.

White poncho - full written pattern

Size: (this poncho) Front with the edging: 60cm (24”), arm with the edging: 50cm (20”)

You can vary the size of your poncho by using different type of material and size of hook and/or adding/taking off the rounds of each square.

One square: cca 20cm x 20cm (8’’ x 8’’)

I used 6 skeins of “Bibina/from Vlnika” –(one skein) 50g/130m (see picture below), F/4mm hook.

The pictures and the chart are there to help guide you through the crocheting, and supporting the written pattern for this poncho. I think a patient and dedicated beginner will manage as well. I think it is nice and easy project which will not take more than few evenings and the outcome is gorgeous.
