Easy slippers pattern

Size:  EU 38 / UK 5
You can vary the size of the slipper by using a different material or/and size of the hook.
I think it’s better to use yarn with some elastic in it.

You need:
I used cca 70 grams of cotton with elastic. (You may need a bit more or less - depending on size of your slippers)
Always use a little smaller hook than suggested – I used 2mm

Terms/Abbreviations: I used US terminology
ch       chain
slst      slip stitch
sc        single crochet
dc       double crochet
st        stitch

Note: You need to make 7 squares for one slipper. I used classic full granny squares. One square I made measure cca 7cm x 7cm ( 2,8” x 2,8”). You may vary the size of slipper by adding and removing the rounds of the square as well. The two “ sole” squares in the middle indicating the size of your slipper.

Slipper:
Start with a magic ring or ch4 - join with slst.
1st round: Ch 3 ( count as dc )– 2dc into the ring, ch3 - 3dc into the ring, ch3 - 3dc into the ring, ch3 - 3dc into the ring, ch3, slst. into 3rd ch from first ch 3, do not turn.
2nd round: Ch 3 ( count as dc ), dc in next 2 st, 2dc – ch3 – 2dc in ch3 from previous round (corner), dc in next 3 st, 2dc – ch3 – 2dc in ch3 from previous round (corner), dc in next 3 st, 2dc – ch3 – 2dc in ch3 from previous round (corner), dc in next 3 st, 2dc – ch3 – 2dc in ch3 from previous round (corner), slst. into 3rd ch from first ch 3, do not turn.
3rd round: follow schema from 2nd round
For my slipper I made 3 rounds.

Assembling: Put the squares together as you can see on the picture. You can sew or crochet them together to the shape. And don’t forget to add the bobble.

Have a nice week
Clara
